Description

The Center for the Study of Race and Democracy in partnership with the Provost’s Office of Inclusion and Community Engagement will inaugurate an annual Social Cohesion Dialogue. Two critically acclaimed authors Carol Anderson (‘White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Racial Divide’) and Sarah Smarsh (‘Heartland: A Memoir of Working Hard and Being Broke in the Richest Country on Earth’) will engage in a dialogue on critical issues of race, class and gender. The dialogue will be moderated by Vice Provost Stanlie James.
